I went to Guayaquil for the premiere of MEDARDO in Ecuador, June 2015.

My short-film 'Antes del desayuno' (Before Breakfast), a free adaptation of Eugene O'Neill's one-act play, is part of the Cine más corto Festival by Arriba el cine and will be presented December 2, 10 and 17, 2023 at 6pm at Centro Criollo de Ciencia y Tecnología del Caribe (C3Tec) in Caguas, PR. In Spanish with subtitles in English.

Back by popular demand I presented 'Máscaras afuera' by Joselo Arroyo, adaptation by yours truly, directed by Gerardo Gudiño and sharing acting credits with Thais Rivera at La Goyco in Santurce, PR, August 11-13, 2023.

'Máscaras afuera' got two nominations in the categories of Best Main Actress for Thais Rivera and Best Makeup for Ricardo Santana at the True Colors Fest 2023 to be held in July 23, 2023. 

I performed and produced 'Máscaras afuera' by Joselo Arroyo, adaptation by yours truly, directed by Gerardo Gudiño and sharing acting credits with Thais Rivera. At Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce in Puerto Rico, June 29-July 2, 2023 as part of True Colors Fest 2023. 

I finished filming in March 2022, a movie in Puerto Rico in which I have credits as an actress and associate producer. Coming soon.

I co-produced and performed in the play  "NOBELeriando" written and directed by Ricardo Santana with fellow actor Francisco Capó in "Teatro en 15", microtheater in Old San Juan, PR in November 4-28, 2021. 

Since 2019 I'm living in Puerto Rico and working in production of a few projects and preparing a few more acting ones.

I'm the co- creator, producer and co-host with Alice Flecha of the podcast in Spanish ¿TODO BIEN? since April 2020. Podcast available to hear on Buzzsprout (click on the photo above for the link), Spotify, iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts and TuneIn.

I co-produced and performed in "Revuelta{s}" at La Respuesta in Santurce on February 29, 2020 at 9pm. 

I was nominated by the 2020 ATI Awards, in the category of Best Actress for "L&B" by Ricardo Santana, and Best Production, produced by Edna Lee Figueroa for FUERZAfest, NYC in the LGBTQ Issues Category. It will happen on August 26, 2021 in NYC.​​ It was postponed to due the pandemic caused by Covid 19.

"The House of Bernarda Alba" by Federico García Lorca had its tour in Puerto Rico in November 2019 and it was on stage in San Juan in January 2020.

"L&B" by Ricardo Santana was part of the XLI Festival de Teatro de Caguas, October 4-6, 2019 in Puerto Rico.

The film "Release" by Adel L. Morales had its premiere in the Urbanworld Film Festival in NYC, September 19, 2019.

I’m excited to be part of the "Teatro al fresco" Festival in Puerto Rico in July 2019.

I'm so happy, proud and grateful that our director Ricardo Santana won the Outstanding Achievement in Directing award for “L&B” at FUERZAfest, May 2019. 

I'm honored to have being part of the Hispanic Federation's FUERZAfest2019 which ran May 8-19, 2019 in the company of awesome artists and the support of Teatro Círculo. Eight plays out of 22 submissions... “L&B” was performed in May 17th and 18th. 

I was nominated by the 2019 ATI Awards, in the category of Best Actress for "Máscaras afuera" by Joselo Arroyo, and Best Production, produced by Edna Lee Figueroa and Teatro Círculo's CALLBACKseries2018, NYC. March 27, 2019 in NYC.​​

Had a very successful run of "Mother of Pearl" by Nathan Yungerberg, directed by Zhailon Levingston. March 21-23, 2019 at Laguardia Performing Arts Center as part of the Rough Draft Festival.  

FOREIGN NATIONALS was nominated in four categories at the 2018 NYCTV Festival and had a special screening of its TV series pilot in November 2018. And who has a short and "do-not-mess-with-mom" part? Yours truly. I'm so proud of this project!

We had a total of 16 performances in 3 nights of TIC TAC TOE the3some by Joselo Arroyo.  Produced, adapted and translated into English by me, Edna Lee Figueroa. It was part of the third edition of Teatro SEA's MicroTheaterNY as part of Borimix 2017. With Michael Lloret, Joe Quick and yours truly. Directed by Gerardo Gudiño. November 17-19, 2017. I recently finished performing in a very successful run of COCK by Mike Bartlett produced by Kayros Theater Group, Nov. 3-12, 2017 at Producers Club in NYC. 

I had a beautiful eye-opening experience in Colombia where I proudly performed among many talented artists from different parts of the world as part of "XXVI Women on Stage for Peace Festival" organized by Corporación Colombiana De Teatro. I shared the stage with Claudia Osejo and Hyo Rim Lee in "My Dear, Helen" produced by Tabula Rasa NYC and Bae Kwan Gong from South Korea. August 11-21, 2017 in Bogotá.

Leading role in "Arrested" by Karin Diann Williams and directed by Storm Garner as part of White Rabbit Sexcapades, White Rabbit Productions. February 11th and 14th, 2017 at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre in Manhattan, NYC.

I produced and performed in the comedy "La terapia" by Txemi Parra as part of the second season of Teatro SEA's Microtheater New York. February 6th, March 6th and, April 3rd, 2017. Microtheater is a theatrical format representing various micro plays (15 – 20 minutes) which are performed for a maximum of 15 audience members in small, alternative spaces. Each play was performed five times each evening. 

​​Season 7th of LA ZAPATERA PRODIGIOSA started on January 28, 2017 at Repertorio Español.

Done filming short film in December 2016: "Desesperación" written and directed by Lin Que Ayoung. Awesome.

I was invited to participate at a panel of the 2016 Latinx Theatre Commons New York City Convening at Repertorio Español. It will take place at nine Latina/o and allied theatres across the city from December 1-4, including The Public Theater, Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York, the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center, Teatro Círculo, INTAR, Repertorio Español, Teatro SEA, and the Lark. BROKEN CITY: WALL STREET had a wonderful run of SOLD OUT performances. Conceived by PopUP Theatrics partnered with Ana Margineanu and Tamilla Woodard with collaborator Peca Stefan and in collaboration with the UK's Signdance Collective International. July 21-August 1, 2016. 

I recently went to Puerto Rico in June 20-27, 2016 to give the commencement speech at the Humacao Community College graduation in my hometown Humacao and was given a proclamation from the municipal legislature in recognition of my career as an actress. Also visited two radio shows in which we talked about my past and upcoming projects.

MEDARDO by Julio Ortega, directed by Nitsy Grau, Anjos Productions and Kayros Entertainment (Ecuador-Holland production) will be broadcast on national television of Ecuador on Ecuavisa, June 11, 2016 at 10pm.

MEDARDO by Julio Ortega is one of the 2016 Golden Palm Award Winners in the Narrative Feature Competition Category at the Mexico International Film Festival.

I've been recognized by the Association of Latin Entertainment Critics of New York (ACE) for my performance in the film MEDARDO with a Special Distinction Award.  The ceremony of the 2016 ACE Awards was held on March 29, 2016.

I've been awarded by the Independent Theatre Artists with a Best Supporting Actress Award 2016 for my performance in the play "Los titingós de Juan Bobo" and nominated for the monologue "Láyel". The ceremony was held on Sunday, March 27, 2016; World Theatre Day in NYC.

I was the subject of an article from my Alma Mater's, University of Puerto Rico, online newspaper "Diálogo UPR". In Spanish. To read it click on "LINKS" under "News", March 26, 2016.​

MEDARDO had a Q&A screening at the General Consulate of Ecuador in New York with part of the cast. February 13, 2106.

LA ZAPATERA PRODIGIOSA by Federico García Lorca had full house performances in Cuenca, Ecuador at the 9th Performing Arts International Festival Escenarios del mundo (Festival Internacional de Artes Escénicas Escenarios del mundo).

 
MEDARDO opened the International Film Festival of Guayaquil on September 5th, 2015. The festival ran until September 12th where it was awarded with the Golden Iguana in the category of Best Guayaquilean Film. (Festival Internacional de Cine de Guayaquil).
